Highly Maneuverable Line Follower / 小回り可能なラインフォロワー

Front-wheel steering and front-wheel drive make this line follower highly maneuverable. Its structure is like a unicycle pulling a trailer. When I first built a line follower with this configuration, I used MINDSTORMS NXT. Compared to that version, this one is much more compact. Back then, I struggled with routing the sensor cable on the front wheel, but with the LEGO Science device, that’s no longer a concern at all.

前輪操舵、前輪駆動で小回りできるラインフォロワー。一輪車がリヤカーを引っぱっている構造。私が最初にこの構造のラインフォロワーを作ったときは、MINDSTORMS NXTを使った。それに比べれば随分コンパクトになった。また当時は前輪のセンサーのケーブルの取り回しに苦労したものだが、そのLEGO Scienceのデバイスではその心配は全くない。
